About Lake Sammamish
Lake Sammamish is a lake 8 miles east of Seattle in King County. It sits to the east of Lake Washington and to the west of Sammamish. Lake Sammamish stretches from the city of Issaquah, Washington in the south to Redmond, Washington. It is a freshwater lake that drains into Lake Washington via the Sammamish River. It has a maximum depth of 105 feet. The main leisure activities include rowing, water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and jet skiing. Beautiful homes line both the West side and east side of the lake. With its close proximity to Bellevue, Seattle and Microsoft make this lake the perfect place to call home.

About Lake Washington
Lake Washington is the largest natural lake in King County and the second largest in Washington. It is bordered by the cities of Seattle on the west, Bellevue and Kirkland on the east, Renton on the south and Kenmore on the north, and surrounds Mercer Island.
The cities and towns bordering the lake, from the west, are Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Kirkland, Yarrow Point, Hunts Point, Medina, Bellevue, Beaux Arts Village, Newcastle, and Renton. The city of Mercer Island occupies the island of the same name, in the south half of the lake.
Lake Washington features include its many restaurants, public parks, numerous boat launches including beaches with picnic area. The main leisure activities include rowing, water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and jet skiing. Lake Washington is also known for its salmon fishing and access into the Puget Sound though the Ballard locks. Every year during Sea Fair if you look up into the sky you will probably catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels soaring over Lake Washington.
